    hoilday in nz
Mum and I have been over to nz twice on a cruise ship, but we want to see more of this most beautiful country. Mum is 73 and I am 55 . We have never spent a lot off time together but since dad died we do. And it is wonderful we do everything. We have talked about hiring a campervan and going back, but is going be a big cost. So maybe while my health is good we might be... read more

noyhing great has ever been accomplished without passion
You can live for years without a dream, a real one.  Because of your will to survive, you come to believe survival is the only thing that will ever happen to you, until your illness, or wathever was getting in the way is slowly going away.  at this moment you understand nothing great has ever been accomplished without passion, and this great hunger you thought was long gone, reappears, old negligated, forgotten, still posessing you, as it always will.   Seeking... read more

    We deserve it!!!
My family and I deserve a vacation. Jared and I have now got 3 children, Dawn 12years, Seth 6years and our new addition Tyler 9months..we have had a rough few years..we found it hard to get ahead where we were so we moved to Auckland thinking my husbands career would take off but after 8mths we were still struggling and everything seemed to be more expensive, so I started working full-time instead off just part-time, putting kids in childcare... Jared broke... read more

    Family Holiday.
My family holiday down the line from Auckland was four years ago when my sons dad was still alive. We went down to see his family in Wellington...what a waste of time that was! The holiday was disastrous, they were very rude, cold and never again did we waste our time right up till he died of leaukemia. The sites were so beautiful and I wanted to sometimes pull up and stop and relax. Seeing the motorhomes and how equiped... read more

    The Struggle
This last five years have been a journey through the fire -- My youngest son nearly lost his life at the age of sixteen when he suffered a mid gut volvulous - this means that his intestines became strangled causing no blood flow which resulted in gangrene -- this caused blood poisoning and the loss of nearly all of his small intestines and half of his large intestines.  He was very ill for two years and is now left with a short... read more

    To see New Zealand
My friends did a NZ road trip and I am so envious. It sounded like the best trip ever. They told me about the beautiful turquoise lakes, the snow capped mountains and the delightful scenery. They told me about all the extreme sports you can enjoy in Queenstown, such as Luge, Parasailing, Paragliding, Ziptrek, Jetboating and Bungee jumping. They told me about the enchanting countryside where Lord of the Rings and Narnia was filmed. They spoke of a Steamship trip to... read more

    Camping at 49
I love camping, and live with a very obliging son who also enjoys the outdoors and fantastic scenery. However at 49 years old, I tend to require him to lift me off my sleeping bag each morning - sad and humiliating. I had my honeymoon in New Zealand and completely fell in love with the South Island. I would love to take my son to see the beauty whilst in something just a little more comfortable than a tent, particularly... read more

    Magical South Island
One of the best road trips you can do is the South Island of New Zealand, especially in a campervan as there are lots of parks, picnic spots and lookouts to view the great scenery. Plaques along the way explain geological features and historical stories. As I love taking photos it was a dream landscape with snow capped mountains, blue rivers, tranquil lakes, wild coast and beautiful bays. There are plenty of adventures and activities to do. We had dolphins... read more
